#2 by SASJACOB on December 30, 2011 - 12:36 am
The back is vaguely reminiscent of Volvo.

awesome review and car

Unless you’ll be doing some heavy lifting, the 2.4L is plenty of power for the target market of the CR-V. Our 2010 is a jewel; looking forward to getting this generation during the refresh!

Someone needs to tell honda to get their act togeather. Honda is doing a great job but no V6. Honda is already behind in horsepower for all their cars. they could at least put a V6 engine is this things. The new Honda needs the same V6 that in the Honda Odyssey and a 6 speed automatic transmission with variable valve timing and eco boost. If the new Honda Odyssey can get up to 28 mpg on the highway. I know that it can get 31 or more with the smaller CRV motor with V6, and transmission.

2.4 come on HONDA where is the V6 with 280 Hp? You do have that in the TSX and how about a six speed Automatic gear box? Want a refinement add that to the CR-V It will make a great Small SUV a Toyota RAV Killer. No Turbo like the RDX I had one and Hated it. It was too loud and took away from the enjoyment of the ride. A V6 in the CRV would make this Small a knock out in its group. I Love the New Design lets just freshen up drivetrain!

not a review. this is more of a giant commercial or a features overview. tell me what it does well and what it doesnt do well. tell me about materials quality.

nice ass like volvo looks great
#9 by adnoHis1 on December 30, 2011 - 3:44 am
I like it but I woul change the Wheels. They look like 16′s instead of 17′s. I think this type of Rim does not do any justice to the CR-V. 2007 Rims are much better!
#10 by adnoHis1 on December 30, 2011 - 4:01 am
@xoquixxoqafxo You are correct!!. The 17″ look like 16′s. Kind of out of proportion. Is either going to 18″s or a different type of wheel/Rim. The Rims on my 2007 Cr-V are much better looking and actually makes them look bigger, That’s the only thing I would change (and adding HID in front and LED on taillights!!!)

@cheetah3333 We actually got to test drive the CRV at a press preview event weeks ago, and the footage came in our gift bag from Honda. We wouldn’t review something that we’ve never driven.
#12 by vaneztax on December 30, 2011 - 4:06 am
Great review lot of useful info
#13 by cheetah3333 on December 30, 2011 - 4:27 am
Please don’t review things you don’t have. Especially not video reviews by making a slideshow of images you found on the internet.
#14 by accordguy0325 on December 30, 2011 - 5:20 am
@xoquixxoqafxo
it’s not the size of the wheel that matters- but how you use it ;p

I really like the new CR-V. Honda did a good job, I just wish it had a bit more power and 18″ wheels, the 17s look a bit too small
#20 by Circacx203 on December 30, 2011 - 8:22 am

#29 by sharpo88 on December 30, 2011 - 12:40 pm
alot of this work isamazing, but most of what i seen, i would not class as a product. it all looks pretty but in reality it would not be manufactured at all. i thought this was supposed to be a product design course not concept art, art being the key word. and before i get shot down here i am not saying the work here is not phenominal!
good day
#30 by aasrard on December 30, 2011 - 1:19 pm

#32 by TheBeeeee on December 30, 2011 - 1:53 pm
@riderxriderx you live in the wrong country
in sweden it’s free, im going to start my education next year in Lund. But they changed the rules or are going to change them i think, so that it will cost for international students :/
just a tip
but there are still some countrys that’s free of charge, but of course you’ll have to live there and that may cost money
#33 by ilovebrazilsoccer on December 30, 2011 - 2:04 pm

Id love to get into auto/industrial design but I think that Iam too old for a new career at 40. I love the inspiration that is shown in this clip. Ive studied mech’ engineering in the past, but Id love to work in a field that is more creative.

Well done (every single one of you),
It has been great to work with you over the past four years. You should all be justifiably proud of yourselves. I feel honoured to have been with you on the journey. Now its time for you to go and change the world for the better and have a lot of fun doing it.
