    it took some time but i figured it out-the trick is to get the trigger just right size then build around it once that is done and you like the size the ohter trick is the trigger pivets on the dowel so the trigger isn’t really being pulled straight back it’s going back and upwards a little look about the middle of handle you’ll see the space i’m talking about. It looks to be 1/4 in. ply and maybe some pine some other nice exoctic wood now i’m going to try to make one my self

    @Pedrolff
    Try looking at it some more. I’m sure you’ll figure it out on your own. (Hint: the trigger is one with the “staircase” that you see in the video. The “stairs”, when trigger is squeezed, should pertrude (at a slight angle) a bit above the points which support the stretched bands)

    @oggcraft I find your work to be both ingenius and fascinating. What was your inspiration for this? And I understand your reluctance to allow all your hard work to be copied for no gain; my advice to you is to turn this into a profit maker by copyrighting the designs and selling the kits or else leasing the design rights out to people who will make and sell them. You can make a bundle of money either way on these designs. Good luck to you sir!

    Clever design. You were the 2nd person to motivate me on making Rubber Band Guns as hobby. I 1st started out with Knex, then I looked RRB guns and found this. are you not able to get a patent, or have you tried? And someone else did before you came up with these? I came up with a similar design from the sliding handle.

    Have you ever thought of selling your products, the guns would easily make a profit. Also if you start making plans for you guns, you may be able to sell them on your website, with copy right attached to them. Think About It!

  24. #24 by TheDobbo345 on December 29, 2011 - 6:40 pm

    You should really think about making this a business, and mass producing your products. Start making plans, then make them available to purchased online with copyright and patten. You could make loads.
