Now owned by Autodesk, Studiotools version 13 features major improvements. We thought it time to show you how we use this software, and created a 3 part series going through the complete process, from sketching, through rendering to 3D modeling. Enjoy Part 1 on Sketching, and take part in our give away competition, kindly made possible by Autodesk and Wacom. New on the FORESEE Online Car Design School at www.4c-foresee.com is the option to buy the lessons without the correction options, so that you get the whole package but don’t get to send in your work for corrections and/or recommendations by Mr Steenstra.
Akihiro “Dezi” Nagaya, General Manager of Toyota Design Division at Toyota Motor Corporation in Japan, explains the processes and philosophies behind the design of the FT-86 II sports concept. For the latest news about about Toyota’s next-generation sports car, visit www.blog.toyota.co.uk/FT-86

@CapitanCaribe
You have to look at this at another view… this software costs ALOT of money and I don’t think students could afford it. So if someone would download it illegally and practice to become good then this might help him in his career, maybe he will have to use it the whole time for his job and probably purchases it
Whereas when there was no illegal download then I don’t think there would have been alot of tutorials on the internet and not as much discussions about it.

#44 by asatrim on December 5, 2011 - 5:18 am
It looks like a good car but the only thing I see if I wanted it would be for the body, so I can can put my 2jzgte in it lol
#45 by banacek8675 on December 5, 2011 - 5:19 am
@nick081980 They’d better not charge that here in the U.S. People will opt for the much more powerful 370-Z for the same price. I’ve seen the specs for this car and it would be aptly priced at $25,000.
#46 by nick081980 on December 5, 2011 - 5:50 am
apparently these are going to cost about $33,000 plus on roads in Australia and NZ. you can go to toyota website and register your interest so they will notify you when they are ready to take orders.
#47 by Blinkerlightfluid on December 5, 2011 - 6:12 am
Love but if it’s more than the Hyundai geneses I’ll go with the cheaper one cus many owners of the geneses love it and I’m sure this car is going to be about 28 to 29,ooo $
