Well, in fact, go through government stimulus packages to help you get rid of your unsecured debts. Not billions of dollars of grant pot is sitting somewhere waiting for you call and ask for some of those free cash to help you reduce your debt. But indirectly, the government’s initiative to give money to major banking groups, such as Citibank, to $ 20 billion by 2008 and help that Citigroup has received has been extended to some other institutions in need of federal assistance. It’s time to get out of debt and start living a debt free life.

Without this stimulus package, these financial giants headed for extinction, according to the Treasury and the Federal Reserve System “would cause confusion to the already-crippled financial system and economy of the United States.” And of course all of this money is used to save their skeletons come of our tax dollars, so it is logical that we should also benefit from the same stimulus money, credit card companies benefit.

It is no secret that many of us are out of work now, or may be in fear of losing our jobs, that we may keep a hand grip on our finances. We choose which bills are most important to pay each month, and for most of us are our secured debt consolidation as our mortgages and car payments. Usually, our credit card bills are the last on the list to get paid, and credit card companies are well aware of this, which is why many of them are willing to work at least part of the plan to get the money back.

These big boys have found that getting something is better than nothing, which is an alternative if they refuse to work with us. Of course, we do not, and will often use every tactic may try to scare you into paying, or else. But some will eventually decide that it is in their best interest to deal with a pound.

Plus they also know that their government stimulus package, and is closely watching them and regulate many of their enemy tactics were used in the past. And so they want to appear as if trying to work with consumers to give themselves a better light on the government’s eyes.

Audi is no doubt a luxury brand capable of producing some spectacular additions to the automotive world. Take for instance, the new Audi A1 e-tron (not to be confused with the steak sauce).

The Audi A1 minicar made its debut at the Geneva Motor Show this year, and like the Chevy Volt, it is powered by battery, using a gasoline motor to recharge its batteries. There is where the similarities end. Unlike the Volt, or any other electric car to be produced to date, the A1 e-tron concept utilizes a Wankel motor to produce the charge.

A Wankel engine is an internal combustion engine of diminutive proportions, using a rotary design to convert pressure into a rotating motion rather than using reciprocating pistons. The rotary in the Audi A1 e-tron tips the scales at just 154 lbs, and fits below the cargo floor.

In battery only mode, the A1 can go approximately 30 miles before the rotary motor is engaged to provide an additional 100 miles of range.

The performance of this luxury environmental car does not suffer; the Wankel and battery combo puts out sufficient power-hitting the 0-60 mark in about 10 seconds. Yes, most luxury cars we cover hit it 6 seconds sooner, but the new class of luxe-green machines make up for it in other ways-like being green and less dependent on fossil fuels. We believe future technology will continue to enhance these green machines, until there are a fleet of “Incredible Hulks” out there, free from fuel dependency and fast as hell.

More and more exotic car brands, and big brand names, are beginning to adopt environmentally friendly features and capacities into their design phases-putting out more luxury cars that can be considered “green”. The story of Porsche could begin in 1950 with the introduction of the Porsche 356 to the United States by Max Hoffman. It could begin in 1948, when the first auto bearing the name of Porsche came out. However, to get a real grip on the heritage of Porsche, you must go back as far as 1875. In September of that year, Ferdinand Porsche was born in the bohemian village of Haffersdorf.

Ferdinand Porsche showed indications of his technical genius at the age of 18 when he wired the family home for electricity. His only formal education was received when he was a part-time engineering student in Vienna, although the title ‘Doctor’ is often appended to his name. By the time he was 25, Porsche had gone into automotive design. The Viennese firm of Loyner & Co. accepted his first car design. Over the next twenty years, he successfully associated himself with every major car manufacturer in Germany, and he designed about a dozen of the most technically important automobiles in history at the same time.

When he worked for Mercedes-Benz, he helped to create the SSK series, while for NSU, he designed the Auto Union Wandered and the Type 32, which as an ancestor of the Volkswagen Beetle. His disagreements with Mercedes-Benz over the company’s engineering policies prompted him to establish his own engineering group, which became Porsche A.G. He collected a premier group of engineers to work under the name of “Doctor of Engineering Ferdinand Porsche, Inc. Construction Facility for Land, Air, and Sea Transportation” in Stuttgart. His son, Ferry, was one of his employees, and his major interest was in sport and racing cars.

The elder Porsche and his engineers were busy. They developed for Steyr, a luxury sedan in Austria, but this vehicle did not make it out of the prototype stage. They also worked for Auto Union, which is now Audi, the firm that created the Front, the first front-drive economy car in the world. They also created the mid-engine Grand Prix cars and supercharged V-12 and V-16 engines. These, along with the racers from Mercedes-Benz, dominated European auto racetracks for almost ten years.

The company created its most well-known designs for NSU and Zundapp. Prototypes were characterized by Porsche’s torsion-bar suspension and rear-mounted engine. Neither of the firms manufactured the designs, so Porsche sold the idea to the German government. He then provided the oversight on the construction of a plant in Wolfsburg to build the design. He called it the Type 60, but the world knows it as the Volkswagen Beetle.

After World War II, the Porsche Company began to create the vehicles that now bear the name of Porsche. Almost one hundred years later, Porsche became the marque, and the family that developed the unique and lasting contributions to automotive design and engineering has gone down in history.
