Top Gear’s Jeremy Clarkson puts an Aston Martin DB7 through its paces. The thrill of driving is almost too much for Jeremy in this look at this beautiful automobile. From the BBC.
Volvo Car Corporation: Monitoring and Concept Center VMCC — Minimizing weight and complexity, while maximizing driving enjoyment, is the philosophy behind the Volvo Air Motion Concept. Thousands fewer components are employed than in a traditional car thanks to the powerful, yet simple, compressed air motors. The Volvo Air Motion demonstrates the beauty and purity of Scandinavian design and delivers a guilt free, raw driving experience. @turbochargedfilms they did not have the dbs back then, this car stoped production in 2004, the db7 came out in 2007
#6 by dashfront21 on September 22, 2011 - 3:46 am

#12 by NIB2307 on September 22, 2011 - 6:29 am
@antialiasing38 I think there is a great number of such legends in human history.
#13 by levlevi on September 22, 2011 - 6:54 am
This designer should say: I came, I lived, I crated something extraordinary, now I’m ginna sit back and enjoy life.
#14 by antialiasing38 on September 22, 2011 - 7:29 am
@NIB2307 I only know such a legend related to Phidias the builder of the zeus statue in olympia
#15 by NIB2307 on September 22, 2011 - 7:41 am
Jeremy made a mistake on 3:37
In the times of Ivan the Terrible St. Petersburg was even not been founded. To be more precise this legend is about St. Basil’s Cathedral in Moscow which was built in the middle of XVI by order of Ivan the Terrible.

The fact it was a Jag XJS it’s design waa based on the long lost XJ41/42 that never went into production. It was pretty much a 2-Door XJ40

@questarr Well that’s just GREAT. That just means there’s no chance in hell to ever get any of this music on my ipod, paid for or not. Preposterous!
#29 by questarr on September 22, 2011 - 12:52 pm
@ColeFried81 It is a fact that Lee Miles did the score for the video. I directed this project, Lee Miles is my right hand man when it comes to music, he is very talented person in the music field, he produces bands of all types, and is a front man in the band “Oh My Stars”. You will see the credits below the Volvo logo, @3:57. Cheers -Quinn Starr
#30 by ColeFried81 on September 22, 2011 - 12:57 pm
@questarr I beg to differ. I found a Lee Miles and he plays acoustic. The music in this video is atmospheric. This cannot be Lee Miles unless this was a side project of his.
#31 by questarr on September 22, 2011 - 1:47 pm
@ColeFried81 Original music scored by Lee Miles.
#32 by markit8dude1 on September 22, 2011 - 1:50 pm
Did I miss something? Where are the air storage tanks?Compressed air is stored in cylinders and it doesn’t look like there is room for any in this design.
#33 by ColeFried81 on September 22, 2011 - 2:07 pm
What’s the song used in this video? Does anyone know? PLEASE it’s beautiful!
#34 by maikeru01 on September 22, 2011 - 3:05 pm
sucks if only 3 people go for a drive. one has to face backwards alone.

#38 by wivese86 on September 22, 2011 - 4:32 pm
Crash safety? I’m tired of concepts that aren’t really feasible for everyday. If you’re not going to make it production in the near future keep it to yourselves. Useless.
#39 by Ninja5810 on September 22, 2011 - 4:48 pm
WELL THATS GOOD FOR DIFFERENT WEATHER SCENARIOS LOL
#40 by rugbycressard on September 22, 2011 - 5:21 pm
this is just dumb
#41 by fizzguts on September 22, 2011 - 5:29 pm
I loath brain dead designers like this. Not an engineer in sight to deliver a reality kick from a steel capped boot up their arse.
Fact Bearings in the rims mean any curb impact seizes the wheel.
Fact Air motors & compressors lose energy to heat so this POC will use 5 x more energy than an electric car of the same performance
This carbon fiber ashtray will have a 10 mile range with miserable performance. Idiots

Sorry for the triple posting, but I just have to ask you something. Ever heard of a CONCEPT car?! It’s a concept! 1. They will make cheaper and not so extreme-looking cars based on the concept car! 2. They might not manufacture any cars around this concept at all!
#50 by ChompGAR on September 22, 2011 - 9:25 pm
What the deuce? There’s a ton of comments down there and I just read them all. I did expect at least over 10 intelligent commenters, but to my disappointment, I only found like 4? What’s wrong with you guys? Why do you even bother?!
